1. Basic Policy (Non-Retention of Job Seeker Data)

JMY Career Hub (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") serves as a platform that directly connects job seekers with listing companies. Due to the system architecture of the Service, all application information (including resumes and contact details) entered by job seekers does not pass through or interact with the Company's servers. It is transmitted directly to the respective listing company. Therefore, Othello Malaysia (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") does not acquire, retain, store, or process this data in any form.

2. Personal Information Collected and Purpose of Use

The personal information collected and retained by the Company is strictly limited to the following:

  • Listing Company Representatives: Name and contact information (email address, phone number, etc.). This information is used for service provision, billing, contract management, and essential notifications.
  • Inquiry Desk Users: Name and contact information provided voluntarily through the Company's inquiry forms. This information is used solely to respond to inquiries.

3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company will not disclose or provide the personal information it collects and retains (as outlined in Section 2) to any third party without the individual's prior consent, except as required by law or when absolutely necessary to protect human life or property.

4. Handling of Personal Information by Listing Companies

As stated in Section 1, personal information entered by job seekers bypasses the Company's systems entirely and is transmitted directly to the listing companies. Such data shall be strictly managed by the respective companies in accordance with their individual privacy policies and applicable legal frameworks, including the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Malaysia. The Company assumes no responsibility or liability for the use, management, or protection of personal data by the listing companies.

5. Data Retention Period

The Company will retain collected personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymized:

  • Listing Company Representatives: For the duration of the service contract and subsequently for a period required by applicable laws (e.g., up to 7 years for tax and accounting compliance) after termination.
  • Inquiry Desk Users: For a reasonable period (generally 1 year) after the inquiry has been resolved, for follow-up and record-keeping purposes.
